There was a time in my life when I just wanted to be able to say I had been writing for ten years. To me, a decade equalled a decent amount of experience. Well, I am at the point now where I can say I’ve been writing professionally for almost a quarter of a century, and while that number is almost too big for me to comprehend, it signifies more than a decent amount of time honing a craft.
I have written about architecture, interior design, health, food, art and technology. Throughout my writing, a personal element is meant to be recognized. The people behind the buildings, the furniture, the innovations and the artistic expressions — they are what makes each story come to life, as far as I’m concerned.
My experience as a writer and editor has also allowed me to delve into public relations, book editing, script writing, speech writing, social media, corporate communications and resume crafting. No matter the type of writing involved, I am a stickler for good grammar and style. This blog is designed to share what I’ve learned with others and to improve the quality of writing for business and pleasure.
For examples of my most recent writing, you can visit Fresh Water Cleveland and Yahoo! News.
What a interesting blog you have, I have actually enjoyed reading it, which can not be said of 55% off all websites that i visit. Because of this reason i’ll recommend you to our list.
Hey Diane,
As an amateur writer & fan, I’m inspired by your quarter-century milestone. Keep it up!
Thanks, Adam!
